Get conference updatesSponsorship inquiriesSave Our Shores Saco Bay hosts the Gulf of Maine Coastal Conference each fall. The full-day event brings together scientists, engineers, planners, municipal staff, and coastal residents to share what they are learning about erosion, sea level rise, and the work of protecting our coast.
The program includes regulatory updates, case studies, a trade show, poster presentations, and field sessions where attendees can see coastal projects in person.
About the conference
The conference began in 2022 as the SOS Saco Bay Coastal Conference. As attendance grew to include people from across New England, it took its current name. The first five conferences were held at the Ferry Beach Retreat and Conference Center in Saco.
